Is it me or are Singaporeans becoming friendlier and more spontaneous? I find a lot of them smiling more automatically and its not just the service staff but strangers on the street too. When i see most people in uniform out there, we'd make an effort to greet one another either with a gentle nod of the head or a slightly exaggerated smile and this time its not just a 1 sided thing any more! There was once, one Armour guy who asked me how I was doing at the Bukit Batok MRT ticketing machine . oh, and the other day on the bus, I had a conversation with some stranger after asking directions. haha i hope she found her way around.these things just make the day a tad more pleasant eh!

As a bored NSF serving in the army, I felt it to be my duty to do some platoon labeling over breakfast one morning. Wee Siong was amazing, he got the match up all right (not that it was very hard actually). So here are th match ups, Zulu Company in summary (one day I'll have to read this again for old times sake). Platoon stooopid - Platoon 1 Platoon jia lat - Platoon 2 Platoon i'm soo sloooow - Platoon 3 Platoon welfare - Platoon 4yeap that's it I guess, I've a feeling most of us would agree with this"p maybe i should start labeling my platoon mates Rec Wayang - Chu.. (wah wah wahh.. no way i'll get in too much trouble)anyway lets feep this one within the 4 walls of our impenetrable bunk ah!p.s smokers will do ANYTHING for a smoke break..

the last update from wendy:Brudder,
I will arrange for someone to pick you all up. How many of you are there? What flight u taking? And what time u reaching Jakarta? Probably I'll take a leave on that day but not sure if I can accompany u guys for all 4 days.
What do u mean the driver's schedule btw?
Plan to take you guys to:
1) Tangkuban Perahu crater (magnificent view on highlands, horse-riding, hiking)
2) Ciampelas Walk (Orchard Rd of Bandung)
3) Dinner at a nice restaurant on top of the hill with view of Bandung city
4) Farm visit which serves splendid yoghurt
5) Kawah Putih (Havent been here myself but heard twas a nice place)
6) Would u like to see kampongs as well?
Haha not sure it'll last the 4 days though. Maybe take u round Jakarta as well...I'll bring u guys to Kemang Village for good eats maybe. Its a place that's popular with the expats... But trust me, there's more things to see in Bandung than Jakarta.
Do inform me ASAP so that I can arrange.
