Is it me or are Singaporeans becoming friendlier and more spontaneous? I find a lot of them smiling more automatically and its not just the service staff but strangers on the street too. When i see most people in uniform out there, we'd make an effort to greet one another either with a gentle nod of the head or a slightly exaggerated smile and this time its not just a 1 sided thing any more! There was once, one Armour guy who asked me how I was doing at the Bukit Batok MRT ticketing machine . oh, and the other day on the bus, I had a conversation with some stranger after asking directions. haha i hope she found her way around.

these things just make the day a tad more pleasant eh!
